SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL EVENTS AT PROSPECT PLACE
Due to ongoing road construction and the difficulty this will cause reaching Prospect Place we have no plans for special events in 2010. We will continue with educational activities such as regular tours of the estate and school field trips.
However, we are looking forward to 2011 and here are some of the events currently in the planning stages:

A Civil War Training Camp - Come meet Union Army re-enactors as they train for battle on the lawn of the mansion. The valley will echo with the sounds of rifle and cannon fire. See how life was in an Army camp of the Civil War era and learn all about the time and it's people. |
